I believe I am excellent in explaining complex ideas in a simple way. Every subject has its roots in our daily lives and finance is no exception. I highlight utility and applications of finance and accounting concepts in our day to day life, and believe this to be the only way to make them interesting and something of value for students.
My 14 years experience of teaching finance and accounting modules to university students of all levels have taught me that their are no shortcuts to learning finance and accounting except a lot of practice. That's why my emphasis is more on practising more and more problems. This greatly enhance both students' understanding of the concepts and their ability to solve problems based on these concepts.
Finally, I keep my teaching sessions highly interactive, which helps me a lot in assessing students' clarity of the topics taught.
