Having taught Mathematics for several years and Ihave strong subject knowledge of KS2, KS3, and KS4.

My abilities are evidenced by my students achieving their target grade and above. I am familiar with and have taught across the main exam boards (Edexcel, AQA and OCR).

I believe that in order to encourage learners to take responsibility for their learning, it is important to address each child as an individual and ensure that they feel they are a part of the learning journey. I have many years of experience planning maths curriculums, planning lessons, teaching, and assessing children with a range of needs (including gifted & talented and SEN).

Every child is unique and has their own learning style. These individual styles should be incorporated in the planning of their lessons.

As a teacher, it is important to be aware of children's abilities and needs in order to challenge them at the right level and engage them in their learning.
