I have over 10 years’ experience as a secondary school English Teacher and Head of Year, and am currently working as an English Supply Teacher for a Harris Academy.

I excel in helping students to exceed their target grades in GCSE English Language and English Literature. I am also very confident with the expectations and criteria for the Speaking and Listening component of the examination.

As well as GCSE students, I am able to support KS2 and KS3 students in all aspects of their English studies.

My passion is to support anxious parents and students; challenge high achievers and motivate underachievers to reach their full potential.

My tutoring style offers bespoke support to increase confidence in students' ability to express themselves and communicate effectively through different mediums, inside and outside of education.

I believe that it is a necessity to instil confidence and self-esteem in students by listening to them; building rapport and meeting their learning style/needs, to assist them in reaching their full potential.
