With 14+ years of experience as a primary teacher, I’ve developed a keen understanding of how to adapt my approach to meet the unique needs of each child. I emphasize interactive and engaging learning methods, integrating technology and hands-on activities to make lessons both fun and educational.

In English, I focus on building a strong foundation in reading, writing, and comprehension, encouraging students to express themselves creatively and confidently. I use a variety of texts and multimedia resources to keep the material dynamic and relevant. In Maths, I aim to demystify complex concepts by breaking them down into manageable steps, using real-world examples to illustrate the practical applications of what we’re learning. I encourage critical thinking and problem-solving, helping students develop the skills they need to approach challenges with confidence.

Preparation for KS1, KS2, SATS, and 11+ exams is also a key part of my teaching. I create customized study plans that cater to each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring they feel prepared and self-assured when exam time comes.
