I like to take a warm approach when teaching my students as I understand how difficult it can be to not fully understand a subject area. I pride myself in my patience when working with students, working closely with them to improve their understanding and most importantly their confidence in English. I break down my lessons so that we can slowly work through the course, constantly checking in to make sure that they understand what they are learning and have the opportunity to ask any questions or raise concerns that they may have. I have broad experience in the English language. I am a native speaker, took English literature and language at GCSE level achieving two A* grades and studied English literature at A level again achieving an A*. I am currently studying law at university which means that even now I am constantly improving my English proficiency, enabling me to give my students the best quality teaching that I can. In the past I also tutored pupils at my secondary school and sixth form in English, ensuring that they got the best grades and achieved their full potential.
