What I've learnt in the course of the years, interacting with and tutoring students,is that I cannot afford to teach every child/student the same way or with the same methods and patterns.
For some, regardless of their class or age, starting from the basics is needed.
Also, the frequency at which each child assimilates differs and I as a tutor must know all of these and find my way around it all,to make sure that the goal of imparting knowledge in the students is achieved.
Online or onsite,I make sure the atmosphere is not tensed and that my students are comfortable with me. Hence, their quick grasp of my teachings.
Over the past six years,I have tutored quite a number students in various schools and also privately, in effective communication and knowledge of English language as well as Yoruba language.
When you get into my class, you'd realize that the topic you've found so hard to understand is just a piece of cake. That is how well I'm able to explain how I take my lessons... Simplicity!
My lessons are simplified.
I take it one step at a time, depending on the personal needs of a child/student,that is, even if I need to start from the basics of the language.
I always make parents understand that there isn't a need to rush and desire that Rome be built in a day.
Additionally,I have certifications on classroom management, having gone through lessons and teachings on how to deal well with or handle children/students regardless of their race, tribe, culture, personality, health status etc.
