I am an undergraduate in Bachelor of science in mechatronic engineering and an experienced two year tutor and currently pursuing Masters degree in Robotics,AI and Autonomous systems.
My methodology towards teaching is using scientifically proven methods of efficient and effective learning. The methods through which we practice these methods is entirely based on you! Hence, the first thing we do is figure out your learning style; o whether you are a visual or auditory learner or a mix of a more than one. So we can find out how to approach your learning style in a way that is comfortable and personalised to you.
For all my subjects , I have well discussed course outline for each week and at end each week I usually take my students through continuous assessment test to gauge their understanding about we have learnt through that week .
I find this methodology very insightful because through those assessment I can identify areas where my students find it hard to articulate and thus we can allocate more resources to strengthen those areas .
Most of all my work is student voice based. I give them opportunity to air their opinions about how we have been interacting I mean both merits and demerits and there after I find better ways to accommodate their views onwards.
I tend to use a lot of demonstrations when trying to explain a phenomenon because it makes it easy to understand .
The overall effect of this approach is that it brings overall improvement in grades of my students .
