I like to create individualised materials for my lessons, so I can adapt to the needs, objectives and ways of learning of my students. I have broad experience teaching my native language. I have being teaching students with all sort of levels and needs. I have helped some of my students to prepare for their official exams: National 5, Highers, A levels, GCSC and DELE. I am very flexible, dynamic and patient and I try to bring a little bit of fun into my lessons.
My main objective is to teach my students how to achieve their objectives and maximise their time and effort. I always teach tips and strategies that the students can use in order to be able to learn by themselves. If the proficiency of the student is high, I will work with youtube videos so the students are exposed to different accents than mine. If the level of the students is beginner, we will focus on learning the sounds, sintaxis and the different type of skills they need to achieve their objectives.
My first job as a teacher was at The Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I was a conversational teacher for a group of university students. After 3 years teaching Spanish as a foreign language, I decided to open my own school in Madrid. I have also been teaching very young children how to learn Spanish by telling then stories and playing with them.
I also have a broad experience teaching Spanish on line. I started teaching on line in 2010.
