I am a third-year biomedical engineering student at Queen Mary. I have been tutoring for the past three years, online and in person. I have always found it very easy to work with numbers and for that reason chose to do it at A-level and University. Through my three years of tutoring, I have mastered multiple teaching techniques depending on the student's learning way. For instance, in every lesson, I like to go through the theory and then do multiple examples to get the children to understand. If I see that a student is struggling to understand I will do a couple of more examples but have them help me throughout. Once they know what they are doing, I will set practice questions and from there they do it independently and we go through the questions every 10/15 minutes.
