Hello! My name is Monika and I tutor in English, Psychology, Business and Hospitality Management and Lithuanian.
I have broad experience and knowledge within various fields and I am hoping to help you to achieve your true potential!
I have an extensive over 13 years experience in running a successful restaurant business, therefore if you are looking to enhance your knowledge in P&L, leadership, management, marketing relating to hospitality business, staffing and recruitment, and work psychology - lets work together to get your business to the next step and give your career a boost!
I have social work BSc and currently am studying for Psychology with counselling BSc - I would be very keen to help you to get your head around the core principals and theories within psychology, explore human's mind and practically apply your learnings to help you reach your personal and professional potential. However, if you are more focused to pass your GCSE or get ready for the next exam and need a bit of extra support with academic field - we can work together with it too.
Being in management and leadership for over a decade and equally studying in universities from a foreign country requires me to have exceptional English - spoken and written, especially academically or proffesionally communicating with business partners. I know how hard it is to use English as a second language fluently and I am very excited to share my knowledge and methods that worked for me over the years. Make no mistake - your casual use of English will improve as well as your knowledge and use within professional/academic environment. Moreover, I am native Lithuanian, who is keen to help you learn Lithuanian language - if learning English is easiest with English speakers, same applies for the rest.
I am a cover supervisor at primary and high schools and have significant first hand experience working with children and adults that present complex mental health needs, including the primary school age, therefore I am open to tutor children and adults that present ADHD, autism, OCD or other mental health conditions.
My classes are presented in blocks and topics material that student wants to explore - the initial meeting will be held to discuss the expectations and goals of the student. After initial meeting, tailored approach regarding the subject will be presented in blocks that will contain presentation, research, one to one interaction and working material for the next session. I am looking forward to work with you in an open, tailored personally for you environment where you can thrive at your own pace - the first step is only the beginning of the great journey!
