Hello there! My name is Monica, and I am a bilingual Italian/English tutor with over 10 years of experience teaching both languages to students of all ages and backgrounds. I have a passion for languages and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others to help them achieve their goals.

Growing up in Italy, I learned Italian as my first language and later developed a strong command of English while studying and residing in the UK for now 10 years. My experience of living in two different countries and adapting to two different cultures has given me a unique perspective on language learning and has helped me to understand the challenges that students face when learning a new language.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree and LLM in law however, my varied academic background has provided me with a solid foundation in language teaching theories and methodologies, which I apply in my lessons to create a personalized and effective learning experience for each of my students.

My teaching style is communicative and student-centered, which means that I focus on helping my students to develop their speaking and listening skills through authentic communication tasks. I believe that language learning should be enjoyable and meaningful, so I always try to make my lessons engaging and relevant to my students' interests and needs.

In my lessons, I use a variety of materials and resources, including textbooks, authentic materials (such as newspaper articles and videos), and online resources (such as language learning apps and websites). I also incorporate technology into my lessons, using tools like Zoom and Google Docs to facilitate collaboration and interaction.
