Molly Thorne

I have worked across various different settings throughout my degree such as specific educational needs, early years, KS1, lower and upper KS2. I ensure to create equitable, interesting and relevant content so that the lesson objectives are met. I aim to provide a calm and caring environment so that children can thrive and grow. Having worked across the curriculum, I am aware of the differences in ages and how the curriculum is designed to build on various skills. These skills are built upon year after year as an example, within the maths curriculum each year begins with place value and this becomes more advanced as children progress through KS2. I have currently finished my first teaching year in year 3, where I have become a curriculum expert within a newly rated ofsted outstanding school. I am soon to move into year 4 where I intend to build upon the skills in year 3.
