Molly Skinner

Who am I? I am 22 years old an have a passion for helping and supporting others. I love maths and Biology, Art is also an interest of mine and I do it in my spare time.

Over the past three years I have worked in a Secondary school as a Learning Support Assistant. My role involved me planning and delivering small group and 1-1 interventions, adapting and creating bespoke resources for students both SEN and non SEN. As well as this I also supported in class, mainly maths and science, ranging from year 7 to GCSE level.

I would like to work with you to figure out your learning style and then teach you accordingly. If you like presentations, I can create those, or worksheets, textbooks, videos. Whatever way you find learning most effective, I will support this.

I would like the lessons to be light hearted, rewarding and effective. I don’t want you to feel overwhelmed or confused with the content or me so I would like to make sure you know now, that you I will stop regularly to check in with you.

Who do you need to be? The students I enjoy teaching are the ones who will listen, try their best and will let me know if they are struggling so I can help you.

In my previous job I also worked as a behaviour and mental health mentor too and delivered Social, Emotional and Mental Health interventions so if you need any support in these ways I would be happy to help.
