I have recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University with a true passion for the subject, hoping to start my masters in Clinical Psychology in the coming years. I am a friendly and approachable individual with a strong dedication to helping students gain confidence by developing their knowledge and achieving their goals. I have previous tutoring experience supporting and encouraging primary school and A-level students, and hope to begin assisting university students after achieving a First Class Honours degree, with a first-class graded dissertation.

I have previous tutoring experience teaching A-level Psychology and Key stage 1 and 2 Maths and English and am hoping to also begin supporting Psychology undergraduates. I have previously been a teaching assistant and mentor in a secondary school for children with SEMH needs and schoolwork refusal, so I am very comfortable supporting students with additional needs to achieve their educational milestones.

I can provide support for exams and an overall understanding of the curriculum for both GCSE and A-level students, specialising in 16-marker questions, topic evaluations, and research methods.

I have previous experience helping Psychology undergraduates with essay writing, however, can also provide support for dissertations, essay planning, comprehension of journal articles, and qualitative data analysis. Additionally, I can help with understanding referencing or content from seminars and lectures and provide suggestions for learning materials if requested. I am more than happy to proofread work and offer feedback on improvements.

If you have any inquiries, do feel free to contact me :)

NOTE: Please send me a message with your availability and any learning areas you require support in (so I can prepare session plans in advance)

While teaching, I take a positive and encouraging approach. I build rapport with pupils during early tutoring sessions to create a trusting and supportive environment, so they feel comfortable discussing areas they need to improve without fear of judgement. I highly encourage this as I believe mastery of knowledge gaps and personally challenging subjects is fundamental for achieving academic success.

I am more than happy to cover topics being taught in school/college/university, however, would ask that I am contacted in advance before sessions so I can organise a lesson plan to ensure tutoring sessions run seamlessly.
