Experience:

I have studied English Literature at a GCSE level alongside English Language at a GCSE level. I also studied English Language at A-Level, and I am currently studying English Language and Linguistics at university.
I have gained my most recent work experience at Micklehurst All Saints Primary School, this experience has helped me to acquire the skills and knowledge of working in a school, alongside the insight to a teaching assistant role in a year one, year five and year six class. I volunteered in these three classes at the end of the academic year (June-July 2023) and start of the academic year (September 2023) during my time away from studies. I have also volunteered here in previous years at the end of each academic year in a year one class only.

Qualities:

I am a reliable, patient, caring and affable person with excellent time management skills, through meeting deadlines and arriving to work on time. I can motivate, prioritise and encourage students to complete work, and find and keep on top of revision strategies which are most suitable to each individual student.

Training Methods:

- I will provide and structure each tutoring session with the student's specific needs at the forefront to efficiently guarantee understanding and improvement.
- I will ensure that revision techniques are useful and helpful.
