Mohib Al-Greer

Currently, I am undergoing a level 6 degree apprenticeship at Schneider electric in electrical engineering where my job role is an application design engineer. I am studying towards a BENG(honours) in electrical and electronics engineering. I studied my A-level at Egglescliffe Sixth form Maths, Biology and Chemistry. Furthermore, I was an ambassador and student leader at Egglescliffe school. My role was to represent the school in a good manner and to assist and help students during the lessons, to organise events such as mental health, anti-bullying, equality, diversity and inclusion. I worked for flying future for a seasonal summer job from June 2023 to September 2023 where I had the opportunity to work on both programmes of HAF and NCS with young people in the age range of 5-17. During my time at flying futures I had the great privilege In being a activity leader and leading the younger people to challenge themselves physically and intellectually by building teamworking skills, public speaking, creative strategies and many more. Furthermore, I also got the chance to vastly widen my knowledge on different socioeconomic background and understand different cultures and backgrounds. Alongside that, I had the opportunity to strengthen my public speaking, communication skills and creative strategies as I had to lead by example and encourage everyone to speak up. I am currently a STEM ambassador for Schneider electric and will be visiting numerous schools to assit them in career choices and widen there opportunities.
