Hi there – I’m Ahmad, a dedicated and passionate tutor specializing in KS2 teaching, with a special focus on the 11+ Grammar School exams.


I have first-hand experience tutoring my own two children for the 11+ exams and homeschooling them during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns. I take great pride in knowing that, despite being taught at home, they returned to school fully up to date in every subject.


With a PhD in engineering, I bring strong analytical skills to my teaching, helping students develop a structured approach to problem-solving. My lessons go beyond simply providing answers—I train students to break down problems, analyse different methods, and develop critical thinking skills. While arriving at the correct answer is important, understanding the process of getting there is even more valuable. To achieve this, I use a variety of techniques, including breaking problems into smaller parts and changing perspectives by scaling problems up or down.



I adopt a flexible and supportive teaching style, ensuring no question is too small or insignificant. My goal is to instill confidence and independence in students, empowering them with critical thinking to tackle challenging problems with confidence, precision, and speed.
