During my own time in secondary school I volunteered to tutor lower year children in French, English and maths. Following that once in sixth form I tutored professionally in maths, English and sciences. Across the years of my tutoring I developed a keen style of teaching centred around a student’s skills.

During my sessions I will aim to first develop a strong foundation of the subject upon which we can build more knowledge. The regime will be personalised and target weaknesses in a student’s knowledge.

I have found that among many different teaching styles, it is most effective to be constructive and supportive by working alongside quantitative test results across periods of time in order to track progress and keep morale boosted.

I believe everyone has the potential for success and will strive to unlock a student’s full potential.
