My lessons have 3 parts. We start with a starter so I recognise what your child is capable of so far. Then regardless of what they already know I start with the content from the basics. Then I go through some practice questions and some exam questions and then I give the student some time to work through the rest of the questions then mark them together. After that we do a consolidation task which could be mini games, a memorisation test or something similar to make sure your student knows the content. This is how I was taught and it’s been really helpful to the students I currently tutor.
