My name is Arfhat, and I am passionate about helping students excel in their academic journeys. I specialise in tutoring GCSE Level AQA English Language and Literature, Edexcel Maths, Edexcel Business, and Primary School SATs English and Maths. I focus on both Primary School (SATs) and Secondary School (GCSEs and equivalent), ensuring that students of various age groups and educational levels receive the support they need.

About My Qualifications and Experience

Although I am relatively new to formal tutoring, I bring a fresh and recent perspective, having recently sat my own GCSEs with predicted Grade 9s across many subjects. My informal experience includes tutoring family members, where I've honed my skills in explaining concepts clearly and effectively.

In my lessons, I employ a variety of teaching methods tailored to meet the needs of each student. I use techniques such as modelling exam questions, demonstrating correct methods, and allowing students to practise exam questions themselves. I focus on addressing misconceptions, answering questions, and providing comprehensive notes and explanations.

Lessons are primarily conducted through Google Meet, utilising resources such as past papers, predicted papers, exam questions, and subject-specific notes. A typical lesson includes:

- Q&A sessions to address any doubts
- Highlighting and correcting misconceptions
- Exam question practise and marking
