I have previously tutored year 12 students in A-level Maths by looking at previous work they've completed and helping them to identify their mistakes as well as showing them any alternative ways of thinking to derive the right answer. I have previously tutored year 12 students in A-level Maths by looking at previous work they've completed and helping them to identify their mistakes as well as showing them any alternative ways of thinking to derive the right answer. This has worked for them as they were able to surpass my expectations in the exams following our tuition. I believe that rather than having students do large quantities of work, they should first understand and solidify their knowledge of the basics. For example, by use of trick questions and increasing the speed at which they can answer problems.
