I believe that Maths is best taught through worked examples and through continued exposure and practical use of the theory taught in classrooms. My own tutors taught me to be flexible, look through the problem systematically and approach it in a visual manner. I took my maths GCSE exams back in 2015 (achieving A*) as an early high achieving student and took further courses in Statistics (getting an A) as well as further mathematics AQA qualification (achieving A*). I then took A level mathematics also achieving an A. My personal experience studying maths at school and college was fuelled by a love and passion for the subject despite many of my peers hating it.
The greatest motto I learned from my own tutor was "always assume the problem is easy and if the problem seems convoluted or confusing, then ask yourself why you are confused because it should be easy". My teaching techniques will be primarily based around that: trying to make a difficult subject a language that speaks to you. I hope it is my pleasure to pass on what I have learned to you.
