To understand nay question better breaking it down and understanding each part of it results in solving half of it as you get to know the goal of the problem. I am informal when I am teaching as it just makes the environment more easy going which in turn helps make the lesson more fun. I have emphasized on perfecting the basics to build a strong foundation, as it helps going towards higher heights of education easier.
