I am a strong proponent of the communicative method to deliver my sessions, and because of it I can easily connect to, and understand my learners and their needs better. The content of each lesson is varied and refreshed by the day in order to keep the lessons from becoming boring and repetitive. In my lessons; the student is usually in the driver's seat and they take the lead while I facilitate the lesson and guide them through it.

Within teaching the subject of English itself; I am a trained professional with a Bachelor's degree in English language teaching, I am also currently studying a Master's degree in English studies at the University of Padova. To top it off, I have recently been CELTA certified. I am capable of providing support in specific areas to directly and effectively address the student's needs. For example: if need be, I offer services ranging from pronunciation coaching to sessions of academic writing (including IELTS).

I have been practicing my profession for a little over 4 years, in a variety of contexts and students' profiles/backgrounds. In my most recent teaching semester, at university level, 85% of students in both of my classes passed their proficiency test after demonstrating significant improvement over the course of 16 weeks. Regardless of your level and the test/exam you are preparing for, through consistent work together; you will achieve your goal!

If you have a specific learning style or preference, such as: learning through music, movies, literatures etc. I am able to cater for your preference and design/base my lessons on your chosen suggestions and materials. Learning English with me is never about memorizing as many words as possible or scratching your head to remember grammar rules that you barely ever use in real life conversations.
