The First lesson is about getting familiar with the Arabic letters and pronunciation.

We then move on to the shapes of the lettes, at the beggining ,middle and end of a word.

Once these first two essiantial skills are picked up the learning takes off.

We start on small words, reading the words as letter names,moving to learning about the Arabic accents.

Through continual practise the 3 accents are mastered, and we now begin to read and enunciate words correctly in the Arabic Language.

We practise with longer words, and then to sentences and phrases.

We learn about the rules of tajweed, and about the different rules to stopping and starting and the context of words.

Then practise begins with reading full formal arabic text from the Quran.

Throughout this process, we are building our basic general arabic vocabulary and root words.

We then move onto informal text and biuilding a larger vocabualry, as modern day written arabic is without accents as it relies on the context and understanding of Arabic.

The full course takes usallay 3-6months depending on the student.
