Although I have no direct experience in teaching, I have been aiding people in Computer Science since doing my A-Levels. I believe that the approach that students need is to form an understanding with the content first. My lessons will be about breaking down the problems so we can look at each aspect individually, which would help the student learn better and hopefully solve their issue. There will be coding examples that I will provide in order for the student to grasp the topics a little better as well. I have used this approach before teaching other students in my fellow years, and they have been able to successfully retain the information and apply it in their exams/coursework. I believe the student is the focus, so we can take things at a slower pace if it helps them in the long run.
