Hello, I'm Mohamed Abdelsamad, a 1st-year biomedical engineering student at Cardiff University. My introduction to biology was in my seventh grade when I took the human body systems for the first time and I fell in love with the biology subject. I've got 5 in AP Calculus, 3 in AP Biology, and 2 in AP Physics 1 which qualified me to be a student at Cardiff University in the biomedical engineering field. These AP classes and exams helped me in expanding my knowledge more in biology as a subject and a field. I also proved my English language expertise when I got an average score of 7 on my IELTS exam. I've always tutored my 2 younger brothers and some of my friends back in high school, this gave me a lot of experience in ways of simple tutoring and making other people understand illegible concepts or lessons. What helped in this is my ability to put myself in other peoples' shoes and know what difficulties and obstacles they are facing in virtue of being their friend or brother and that is what I am willing to be with my students. I always loved and had the passion to share my knowledge with everyone without expecting anything in return , just because I loved it. Im actually considering tutoring as a future career for myself , and I see that this experience would benefit me a lot in the future. I will try to make my lessons effective and short and straight to the point . I always considered visual representations and diagrams as the best techniques for my students to visualize the concept. I also consider to give my students assignments and practices which are brief and not time consuming and effective at the same time. What makes a successful teacher , in my opinion , is the discussions and interactions he make with the student that is why I will try as much as possible to make my class a student's favorable place.
