I'll be up front, this is my first venture in to online tutoring. I have recently set up on my own as a freelance graphic designer. I am looking to broaden the scope of work that I am involved with. I think this is a great opportunity to pass on my knowledge to future graphic designers and am really passionate about the subject. I have over 30 years relevant experience in the Advertising and Printing industries.

I will set online lessons that will cover Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. These are the three essential software programmes used within the industry. The lessons will be tailored to mirror the type of jobs that I have been involved in the industry. These will take the line of an online video call, so that I can share my screen with the student to demonstrate specific aspects of graphic design. So, the core of lessons will be showing you how to set up a job to make sure it meets the output specification and you can supply the correct assets for print or online usage.

I can give tips on retouching, typography, Point of sale design, brochure design, logo design, social media assets.

If a student comes across a specific type of job, I'm sure I would be able to set a lesson devoted to their needs.

This is my first venture in to online tutoring so I haven't received any reviews yet but look forward to this new venture.
