Hi, I am an aspiring primary teacher with experience on how to tutor as I previously worked with a company to teach at primary level.
I would like to take this time out to present how my lessons would work. My lessons would be held on Microsoft Teams. Each lesson will be an hour long, the first lesson being a ‘Get To Know Me’. It is important for me as a tutor to lesson plan according to my student and their preference of learning. All materials will be sent through email to my student’s parent/guardian to access at any time. I will also provide one meeting a term with a parent/guardian to discuss how things are going.
Students should come to lessons with a book, pencil and a rubber. Learning objectives will be discussed, examples will be provided, worksheets will be completed and it would end with a conversation to feedback what was learnt and what could be improved for next time.
