My 2-year private tutoring experience has allowed a tailored, dynamic and interactive approach to be utilised to optimise the understanding of the content as sometimes in school, there may be a lack of intrigue in conceptualising the content examined. I use Zoom in order to teach, however, I have experience on other platforms. There are development lessons to instil the areas of difficulty a student may face. The sessions start off with an understanding questioning to get a superficial understanding then integrate the content and exam questions across the session. This technique is inspired by how Oxbridge supervisors teach in supervision/tutorials. I can also speak Bangla with high fluency and understand Hindi/Urdu to a conversational level to support students with less English literacy. I use different sources for exam questions, some of which will be unavailable to distribute due to personal make. Depending on the subject which I will teach there will be an examination period where the lessons will be solely focused on exam preparation; this prepares students to attain high predicted levels in mocks and increases their confidence for their summative summer examinations. Given there is interest in Oxbridge applications/Medicine, I can also give additional help with writing personal statements as well as conducting interviews to prepare prospective students. I can also exclusive opportunities to students such as internships and work experience given the student has shown interest. During lessons, full focus is required and Feynmann-inspired techniques will be used to increase fluency and competent understanding of content.
