I am a native Spanish teacher based in Bedford, currently teaching pupils of all abilities from age 11 up to age 18 in a secondary school. I have more than 9 years of experience in helping my students who are studying for their GCSE and A-Level exams.

My approach to tutoring is to work with my students and set objectives and goals which are ambitious but also achievable, given the students ability. I then try to tailor my tutoring so that my students can reach their potential. For me it is really important that the student is motivated and so I try to make my classes as fun and interactive as possible.

I have offered online lessons for a few years now and many students are increasingly choosing this option. Some students also choose to combine face-to-face with online lessons, it really depends on what suits them best.

I have found that teaching online can be just as effective as face-to-face teaching, and of course many students find this a more convenient alternative to fit into their busy schedules.

For adult learners where you are interested in using the language in real life situations, I adapt my teaching to cover life situations in which they will find useful the vocabulary and grammar studied when visiting Spanish speaking countries.
