I am a Spanish teacher who has been teaching in schools in China, Mongolia, Japan and the United Kingdom.
My methodology is based on preparing Power Point for students, so I am sure that the most relevant topics can be learned by them in an effective and fun way.
We start with a warm-up by singing or doing something fun, continuing by indicating what the topic of the day is. We sing a new song related to the topic we will learn. Then we move on to learning vocabulary and some sentences related to the topic of the day.
After the guided practice where I let the students practice vocabulary, sentences, then we move on to the independent practice where I prepare different games for the students, they can have fun and put into practice what they have learned. We have a while where we review everything they have learned during class and then it is time to finish and say goodbye with a final song. In the different steps of the class I use games so that students can learn while having fun.
