My methods are tailored to students’ requirements. I like to use prompts and make lessons interactive with a good pace to maintain interest. I find a positive combination of written and verbal work is effective for language learning and I would encourage interaction with native speakers. Regular practice between sessions is essential and I would encourage this as much as possible. Additionally, I find that setting tasks between sessions strengthens the learning process, therefore, setting some homework is beneficial. Occasionally I like to test students to assess progress and to set aims and objectives for learning.
