I offer two types of lessons. My portfolio review lessons start with an introduction, where I’ll learn about you as an artist and review your current or past work. In subsequent sessions, I’ll explain what makes a portfolio stand out, share key tips on what art schools look for, and guide you on how to showcase your strengths. We’ll work on refining your portfolio by identifying what to add or remove, ensuring it reflects your unique voice and potential. This is particularly helpful for university applications.

Drawing from my experience applying to top US art schools like Parsons, SCAD, Pratt, Central Saint Martins, and RISD, and navigating UK and US application systems, I’ll provide expert advice. For GCSE and A-level students, I can also help structure sketchbooks to achieve top marks. I emphasize clarity, creativity, and critical thinking, guiding students in organizing their ideas, developing coherent themes, and selecting the right pieces that demonstrate their artistic development and potential for success in their exams.
