Min Cheng

I have a Chinese bachelor's degree and a UK master's degree. Currently I am mainly a Chinese and art tutor, and designer.

Work experience:
One year of teaching experience, leading 3-8 children to take creative art classes, and tutoring children one-on-one calligraphy classes.
I usually take classes in-person, introduced students to my lesson plan and ask students to take notes at the beginning of the class, and after the pandemic, I start taking online classes. Before the class starts, I will prepare the class materials in advance, and take the initiative to feedback the students' progress with parents after the class. I personally believe that teaching people to fish is better than teaching people to fish, and I advocate cultivating students' initiative in learning and letting students review after class, and then go to class to check and lead students to explore new knowledge.

Personal experience:
I studied calligraphy for six years in primary school in China, then studied environmental art design for 4 years as an undergraduate, during which I went to Korea to study graphic design as an exchange student, and came to London to study data visualisation at the University of the Arts London. I am very interested in education and am currently applying for a PhD and would like to become a university teacher.
I love sharing knowledge and learning and exploring together, and whether you are a child or an adult, I will use all my passion to bring you to learn together. In terms of Chinese, Chinese my mother tongue, I have won the first prize in Chinese language knowledge competitions and essay competition. Trust me, I will make you happy on the road to learning Chinese (mandarin) .
