Lessons would consist of scales (most important fundamentals of music!), and pieces that the student wants to learn - within reasonable limits...
The first lesson would involve mainly talking through why the student wants to learn the piano, what they want to get out of the lesson, how I would help them achieve their goals, etc.
If you are not enjoying the lessons, please don't feel that you can't tell me, I will do everything I can to make these piano lessons a very enjoyable experience, and if that doesn't work out, I can always recommend you to other tutors, or simply a different path to go down.
In terms of costs, for an hour it's £17.50, half an hour is £15.00, and an hour and a half is £25.00.
Music is for people that want to express themselves through the arts, not for those who are simply trying to tick a box off on 'skills' that they have. If it is not something that you already love or want to love, please don't feel pressurised to pursue this path.
