Hi I’m Millie and I am currently studying Sociology, Psychology and Philosophy at A level in Sixth Form. I am in my first year meaning i have just received my GCSE results a few months ago. In Sociology I got a grade 6, however it was due to covid and I could have done better if covid wasn’t a factor.

In the lessons, I will repeat content if needed, do not hesitate to let me know if you need anything repeated. I will go over the content in an easy to follow way, and if you have any queries, I will try my best to answer them. Every month, I will send you a few past paper questions to complete to see you how you are coping, and we will go over them to see how you have improved. The topics I will be covering are: Families, Education, Crime and Deviance, and Social Stratification. I will slightly cover theory and methods too but not as much as the other topics. I will be mainly using powerpoints in sessions. I can only do 10 hours a week due to a contract I have signed with my Sixth Form.

I think it’s best for someone to be tutored with someone who has recent experience of the GCSE course, and knows how it is structured and what it’s like. I think it’s important that I have recently done the GCSE too because it will be fresh in my memory and I can give you tips on how to answer questions and remember key terms.
