As a recent Fine Art Graduate, I feel I have a relative understanding of what it feels like to be a student and also a clear understanding of what it is like to be overwhelmed by education. I beleive that this is a great advantage for both me and student as I can compassionately help you work towards you're goals as a young artist.

It can be easy to feel like art and design is another check box of homework to complete and inevitably a bit of a chore. but I would love to teach you how to use it as a tool for self-expression and cultivating a sense of self-identity.
Art and design was one of my favourite classes in school because I used it as a tool to lean on, it felt to me like I was using it as a therapy break between endless frankly mind-boggling theories and ideas in other classes. Because I used it in this way I achieved an A (7/8) and achieved a distinction * in my Btec diploma (equivalent to 3 A levels in art and design).
I believe that my teaching style is holistic, personalised and person-centred. I hope that my lessons will guide you to have your own voice. I feel cultivating your own voice is the main way to "be good" at art. We can of course unpack and digest what it means to you to "be good" at art and find a meaningful path for you.
I would love to open up a conversation for us to find out if I would be a good tutor for you. please get in touch if you have any further questions about how our lessons will work.
