My name’s Millie as no doubt you can see by my profile!! In terms of a bit about me, I’m a natural sciences undergraduate at Durham University studying Biology and Psychology doing my very best to gain a get a 1st whilst also playing netball for my university team!

Given you do pick me as your tutor, I promise to cover the things that you feel need the most work on rather than the things you know or are not interested in learning at that specific time. I also promise to be encouraging and go at the pace you set and feel most comfortable with whilst always remember to stretch and push you so you can reach your desired grade! Most of the time, I begin my lessons with general refresher questions as well as worked examples making sure that our online lessons are always interactive and collaborative with each other. This will not only engage you but will also make sure you both have a general understanding of the key concepts in my lesson. Afterwards I usually get straight into exam questions as I think this is the best way to prepare for exams which indeed is the target of most students!

Being on younger side compared to other tutors, it gives me an advantage in freshly remembering the demands and stress of GCSE’s/A-Levels which also means I remember the syllabuses extremely well and therefore know how to nail exams as I know what the examiners are looking for. However, despite being young as I’ve said, I’ve still done a few years of tutoring online and in person so have loads of experience in that department so no need to worry about my ability. In terms of my own accomplishments, I all 9’s in GCSES and A*’s at Level. Also being at university, I’m super flexible all year round so will be able to work around your schedule easily!
