Working as a Teaching Assistant in various schools and college's has exposed me to a number of teaching methods for practical and theoretical work. My main delivery methods would focus on concise delivery of information, demonstrations of practical methods being used in the session, introduction to new artists/designers/techniques, feedback from students to consolidate gaps in knowledge and feedback on the student's performance and work in each session. Working with older age groups in schools, with advanced skills, has been crucial in developing my delivery methods. I aim to treat all pupils with respect and understanding, and to converse with them in an appropriate manner (i.e. based on their experience and skill level).
