Millie Cubbage

I am an enthusiastic Biology graduate and my lessons will be engaging, using lots of visual techniques such as diagrams, figures and mind-maps to make understanding more complex topics much more digestible. I found the visualising technique to be extremely helpful while studying for my degree so I aim to employ the same method to make science more enjoyable. Tutorials will be discussion based as talking through topics is the best way to retain information, coupled with short questions throughout to ensure that progress is being made throughout each session. I will also welcome and encourage any questions, whether big or small. I aim to make biology as exciting as possible, sharing small pockets of information beyond what is required for the exams to further engage students and provide them with insight for if they would like to study Biology at a higher level. I have experience leading group projects at University, allowing me to gain effective communication skills, necessary to tutor individuals of all abilities.
