Each lesson will begin with some form of recall from the week before differing to make the lesson engaging, these will range from multiple choice, a practise question, certain facts that you found challenging or just simple quick fire questions. Then learning some new content which I will thoroughly go through until it is completely instilled. Following that, we will do some practise questions each lesson to make sure that you will be up to exam standard. We will make sure we go over topics termly and therefore you will be exam ready! This use of active recall means that the information will stick and if not we can continue to go over it until you feel most comfortable. Don’t feel pressured, I will provide all the content and questions, the most important ones to make you feel prepared for anything asked. You won’t need to them revise these topics in your own time, just briefly go over them. The content will start from where you feel most uncomfortable to make sure we are covering the topics you’re not as good at. It will be a one to one experience meaning it will just be us and I will be focussing and catering to your needs. I did A-level Biology and managed to improve by 4 grades over the course of second year. I am now completing my Masters level Biomedical Science degree and Manchester Metropolitan University where I plan on moving into the NHS after completing my degree. You can feel confident having me as your tutor.
