I studied Spanish at both GCSE and A level, and acheived a 9 at GCSE and an A at A level. During my time at school, I volunteered as a tutor for younger students in the subject. I have spent many years studying Spanish, and thus I understand the necessary revision techniques to refine language skills, and succeed in exams.

My lessons will involve enhancing vocabulary, grammar, listening and speaking skills within Spanish with interesting and engaging approaches. I will help the student with trialling different revision methods, such as flash cards and mind maps, to allow them to understand which works best for them. I will ask the student to direct me to areas of the curriculum they feel they need to focus on, and work with them to improve.

Having recently finished my A levels, I understand the stressful nature of exams, and will help the student to balance their revision efficiently. During my time revising, I thoroughly enjoyed Spanish because it is a subject in which revision can be made enjoyable. A beneficial form of study is watching spanish movies, listening to music in spanish and reading, all methods that encourage the student to enhance their understanding of the subject. I believe making studying fun is the key to success! Alongside vocabulary, grammar and reading tasks, I will direct students to movies and music which helped me during my studies.
