I like to pick a song and learn different this along with it. Like chords and scales used in a song. I use notes and tablature in my teaching. Learning song by ear is important as well. For example a song like Proud Mary played by CCR you'll learn open and barre chords and how strum with your right hand. Then we try to play improvised solo using D major pentatonic scale.
I like to teach rock, heavy, pop, blues, jazz, latin , disco, funk, country and classical music.
I usually send a video clip where I play the piece of music we going through. Then I ask you to do the same before the next lesson.
I have 21 years of teaching experience and I've played guitar 43 years myself . I have played in bands from 12 years old and still am.
My biggest influences are Ritchie Blackmore, George Harrison, Wes Montgomery, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix
