Hi there!

I'm Mike. I've been living on the west coast of Japan for five years where I teach English. I spent most of my time learning Japanese through conversations and I really believe simply talking is one of the best ways to learn.

Depending on your entry level, we'll cover all the basics you need to get started in Japan. We'll cover the three Japanese writing systems - hiragana, katakana and some kanji. You'll also learn all the vocabulary and phrases you need to travel around Japan - asking for directions, ordering from a menu, asking people about themselves etc.

I'll also help you learn all the do's and don't's about vising Japan. It's certainly a lot to take in but it's absolutely worth it to experience this amazing country! If you're planning on visiting, it's definitely daunting and I'm here to help!
