I like to use everyday-examples from life and incorporate them in my lessons to show how useful and practical the knowledge will be. I like to incorporate hands-on practice exercises and provide feedback remediation to reinforce the learning process. I encourage trial and error so the learner is aware of how to fix or undo future errors and mistakes in their everyday life experiences.

I study the learner's environment to find out where they are and where they want to be. If they're a student, my goal would be to show them how to be the best in their class and excel with the new power and knowledge. If they're an employee, I show them how to be best at what they do and show others around them how to learn new skills and techniques.

I like to make use of humor and information that the end user already knows firmly, so I can anchor new knowledge and concepts onto their strong and concrete knowledge. I believe in using building blocks to enhance and advance through learning, but I also encourage learning certain tasks without the need to start from point zero. Computers and computing allow us to learn and do as little or as much as we want, so I like to keep stretching the learner's envelope and whet their appetite to learn and benefit ever more.

I encourage my students to give me feedback, positive first, so I can adjust my tutoring sessions to where they are most comfortable and in their optimal learning condition. I want the information and learning new skills to be their primary and only focus during our sessions.
