As a qualified teacher who holds a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics and Education I have over fourteen years of successful teaching Mathematics at the GCSE level.

My lesson are planned and delivered in line with the students’ individual needs.These lesson are related to students everyday life and are in line with the curriculum at the require KS3, KS4 levels. Lesson general kicks off with a prior knowledge task which allows students to recall previously taught content which is relevant to the lesson to be taught and in most case is a prerequisite. This allows me to understand my students’ knowledge of the concept prior to the start of lesson and allow for a quick recap if necessary. I continue into the actual lesson with the “I do , We do , You do” approach when teaching any new concept which allows for greater support and understanding for students which lead to greater fluency in the content area by students.

After student are able to complete “you do” task successfully, practice task are given along with challenging task ( past paper questions) at KS4
