I have obtained an average of A-A* across GCSE and Alevel English Language and Literature. I am currently Attending the University of Cambridge undergoing the completion of my Bachelors Degree in Human Social and Political sciences, specialising in Politics and Sociology. I have within my whole education, have obtained the skills needed for essay writing, critical thinking and analysis of texts from all levels of learning. I have the experience of tutoring from the completion of my Alevels and hope to transfer these skills to my tutees!
My lessons will be fun, engaging and immersive. I hope to provide hands on activities to combat any difficulties in reaching a specific target. I will join in with any writing or speaking exercises to demonstrate clear examples on how to tackle any questions or tasks. In particular, in preparation for exams or any level of assessment I will ensure to provide key areas of revision skills and buckle down on the important skills we have learnt in past sessions and constantly remind my tutees of ways to create successful essays, presentations or assignments! I am a very ambitious, friendly and approachable person, and hope that I can create a safe environment for my tutees to learn and grow within their subject area, with no room for judgement or harsh criticism, but constructing a way of learning that will suit them.
I aim to be as attentive to my tutees needs academically and also provide ways to learn outside of the box, without the constraints and stress of learning in a fixated and overwhelming manner. I will approach my sessions casually yet also challenge and help my tutees learn effectively!
