I love to center my lessons around the needs of the student rather than the actual academic work. It is only when the student's basic needs are met and they feel respected by their educator, that true and effective learning can take place. My hope is to provide a safe space for learners to be to express their needs and weaknesses in their academics and help then strengthen those areas, building their self-esteem along the way.
