I am good at breaking down complex computer science concepts into simple, understandable lessons. I use real-world examples to simplify the problems that students might face with more complicated topics. I have taught students in a private manner in the UK ever since I arrived for my A levels and helped them in Computer Science, Business, as well as A level maths. I noticed that many students struggle with imagining more complex problems, so I always plan on simplifying them to basic real-life situations that follow a similar principle. During my Undergraduate studies in Computer Science, I continued to teach students as well as my friends privately to achieve higher levels on their course than they would have done themselves. In the final year, I decided to take my approach professionally and became a student demonstrator for younger students at the university. The job was a face-to-face meeting where I checked their work, helped them with topics they struggled with, and answered any questions that they might have had about their studies. I prefer to nudge someone in the right direction to achieve their best but help if they start becoming discouraged about understanding the topic. I understand that questions might arise at any point, so I always plan on being available to students to help because that's what tutoring is all about after all. One of my favorite moments is seeing the 'aha' moment when a student finally grasps a difficult concept. I believe in fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their concerns.
